My horse

decided to move the loom from the wheel arch to inside the fender out of the way. thought at first it would be a pretty easy job but after 102 soldered joints I was pretty much ready to sell the car and take up a new hobby! Got it done and the cad fired back into life as good as gold

Power Cruise damage control

Well due to the car only just getting on the track there were a few little issues after 3 days of thrashing at power cruise:

  1. Wiring rubbed through on drivers side

  2. Wiring rubbed through on passenger side

  3. front tires rubbing on everything with the new kazama arms in

  4. Power steering cooler mounting brackets snapped ( my bad )

  5. Cracked front gaurd and bar - sorry Nath!

I attacked the wireing tonight, decided that i will cut the loom and re rout it through the engine bay. Didnt seem too hard at the time but after labeling al 52 wires im not that keen to start snipping and soldering........

Will get pic's up tomoro of my nightmare.

Quick pic of one of the best s13's ever.............

cheers

Camo's hack!

Met up with the boys today, ended up removing the heater and crap behind the dash of camos car. Pig now, no s15 but........

Just got off the phone with Alex, said there is a silvia nationals event happening on the 8th - 9th of may at eastern creek. Drifting in the carpark and drags on the strip. Should be an awsome event if it takes off!

If i get bored tomoro il put up a bit of a power cruise review.

cheers

My build to date......

Im up a little bit early on a saturday morning nursing a slight hangover which is probably the perfect time to do a quick build post. When i picked up the car it had no gaurds, no bonnet no motor or gear box. Basicaly just a rolling 4stud shell. Plus side was that someone had stripped the sound deadening out of the boot and the shell was a clean 93 turbo model.

The car sat in the shed for about a year untouched. i bought a kit and a few bits and pieces, changed it to 5stud and then it sat for another 6 mounths looking like this.

In the next 6 mounths i went nuts. No tafe, working near home ment i had heeps of spare time. I bought a front cut form QLD and had it shipped down to my shed and started moving everything over. Ended up spending way more than i had budgeted for but i couldnt really help it. Heres a few pics befor i painted the car.

I then went and did the last friday night ever held at oran park - drift land. loved it and decided to rub the car back as white front gaurds and kit wast really doin it for me and power cruise was coming up.

I dont have any really good photos of the car at the moment after it got painted but here is what it looks like today.

cheers......

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our blog! This will hopefully give who ever is interested a bit of an insight into the delicate NSW drift scene as seen through rookie eyes. Will try and update it when ever i get a free minute. If it works out awesome, if not at least i tried. I hope i make it interesting for whoever stumbles across it.

cheers guys,
